'Deluxe' Shin Ei FY-2

Shin Ei Companion Fuzz FY-2 for Dave Hammer in Australia with switchable input and fuzz control capacitors going from 'stock' to more bass.  Additional scoop control as well.  Capable of loads more tonal variety than the original FY-2 circuit.

That looks great! I'm in the middle of building a General Guitar Gadgets-based FY-2 clone. I already planned on putting in a pot to control the scoop, and seeing your cap switches has further inspired me. Very cool.

cheers! if you dont want the switches but want a more dramatic fuzz control, replace the 0.0022uf capacitor with something a lot higher, the switch on this one lets you choose a 0.1uf cap instead. i also wire the fuzz control differently to stock with the 0.0033uf cap going to lug 3, 0.0022uf to lug 1, and lug 2 goes on to the mid scoop section.
