I did an Elka Dizzytone from an online schematic last year and sold it to a fuzz enthusiast who actually owns an original unit. While it sounded good there were some 'issues' with the overall sound compared to the original. So the customer kindly loaned me his original to check out the circuit itself and the sound. A few months later and I have finally got round to completing the clone, and it sounds exactly like the original! Very similar sound to the Burns Buzzaround but with more compression and generally a wilder sound. The clone has 2 nkt214s for q1 and q2, and (like the original) a sft308 for q3.
